In less than a week Bones FINALLY returns to our television screens with new episodes. A vague disclaimer is nobody’s friend.

Now, here’s the scoop on the upcoming season, the low-down on a possible mini-season this summer, and a possible return of Gordon-Gordon Wyatt...

@BonesOnFox For all you Bones fans, here is an excerpt from the Hart Hanson/Stephen Nathan (Exec Producers extraordinaires) from the other day where we talked about the upcoming (like 5 days away!!! OMG) seventh season premiere. I’ll be posting more ASAP but wanted to give you a little nugget of their chat with the press.

Will long suffering Booth and Brennan shippers be pleased with BONES upcoming seventh season premiere? — Jennifer
The TV Addict: Not only will the upcoming seventh season premiere of BONES have long suffering Booth and Brennan fans jumping up-and-down on their couch Tom Cruise-style circa Oprah 2005, the opening scene will have fans just about forgiving Hart Hanson and Co. for last season’s Hannah debacle. No word of a lie, it is that good.

Bones Producers Tease Best Episode EVER, Another Finder Crossover & More

On a conference call today, Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan of Bones teased the new season beginning next week (Thursday, November 3), as well as the return of The Finder and some other fun items.

First on the agenda? What to do with those four bonus episodes.

The seventh season was originally supposed to entail 13 installments due to Emily Deschanel's maternity leave, but when Hanson and Nathan said they could make four more, Fox ordered them.

The question is when those extra Bones episodes will air...

BONES: Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan Tease Cam’s Role in Season 7, the Status of the Bonus Hours, Plus a Tease for ‘One of the Best Episodes’

Given the mass amount of spoilers out there for BONES season 7 (and we’ll acknowledge our part in that), it’s really hard to tease the series any further without completely ruining it.

However, when BONES executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan participated in a conference call with reporters earlier today, the absence of Cam-related storylines prompted me to ask them what they could tell us about our favorite forensic pathologist in the new season…

Ask Ausiello: October 25

Question: I read somewhere that we would meet Booth’s father via flashback on Bones this season. Any idea who’s playing him? —Dawn
Ausiello: An actor by the name of No One. The flashback sequence was scrapped. “It wasn’t needed,” explains exec producer Stephen Nathan of the sequence, which was slated for this season’s Booth-centric fourth episode (which features the return of Ralph Waite as his Grandpa). “David’s performance was powerful enough [on its own]. It’s a very dramatic episode for him, and he more than rises to the occasion.”

leriam10: Any little bit of news about Bones! I know a lot of spoilers have come out but I need more. Please!
Bones (Emily Deschanel) spends a lot of the season premiere in tears. But they aren't sad tears! Um, but they're not exactly happy tears either. Why don't you just check out the season seven premiere and let us know how you would specify those tears. And then in the second episode back, Bones gets very primal with Booth (David Boreanaz). And it's quite awesome.

Inside TV's Spoiler Room: October 21

SIDE DISHES

I have been REALLY looking forward to Bones’ new season but I am not pleased to hear that Brennan doesn’t invite Booth to an ultrasound where she finds out the gender of their baby. And not only that, she blabs to him this event + the sex of their baby at a yucky crime scene in the first 5 min of epi 2. Well that is a horrible memory association for Booth. Kinda of selfish/cold of Brennan imo…Explainy please Sandra :) — Jen
Wow. On paper this does sound bad, but trust me when I say she doesn’t mean to be cold. In fact, she spends much of the episode trying to understand the issue from Booth’s perspective, and eventually makes it up to him in a completely cute way by the end. Your excitement about the new season is totally warranted. The couple will deal with a lot of issues like the one you mention, but overall, you won’t be disappointed.

Mega Buzz: October 18

Bones baby: boy or girl? — Rita
ADAM:
The show won't drag out the reveal — you will know whether the nursery will be pink or blue by Episode 2. (Booth won't exactly be thrilled by how and when he learns the news, especially since he wasn't even invited to the ultrasound!) And as for that nursery, there may not be one if Booth and Brennan can't get their acts together enough to decide where they want their family to live.

Spoiler Chat:

WARNING: REVEALS BABY'S GENDER, ETC.

skagengiirl: Anything that you can get on Bones, mainly Booth and Brennan? What is in their future?
Oh my, there is quite a bit ahead for these two. Within the first five minutes of the second episode, we learn that Bones (Emily Deschanel) didn't tell Booth (David Boreanaz) about a very important ultrasound, aka the one where you learn the sex of the baby. Not to worry, Brennan tries to make up for this oversight by attempting to see things through Booth's eyes, so she can better understand his emotional reactions. (Like wanting to be included in their daughter's future plans.) Oops, did we just let that slip?!

Jennifer: Thanks so much for the Bones scoop! I'm pumped for season seven!
Hold on there missy, we're not done dishing out season seven treats just yet! There's a new intern at the Jeffersonian who is absolutely brilliant at forensic science, but ain't real keen on fancy words or nothin'. While Brennan is pleased to have the new team member, Dr. Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) is having difficulty seeing beyond his criminal past.

Ask Ausiello: October 18

Question: I have a Bones Q. Does Brennan really have an ultrasound where she finds out the gender of the baby by herself and without informing Booth until after the fact? How could she take that moment away from him? She knows what being a dad means to him. I swear the writers want me to hate Brennan. She does this? Seriously heartless. —Danni
Ausiello: Simmer yourself. It’s more complicated than that. Besides, it all leads to one of my favorite B&B moments ever — one that would not have been possible had Booth been on hand for the initial reveal.

Question: I’m counting down the days until Bones returns on Nov. 3. Anything you can give me to tide me over? —Lauryn
Ausiello: There’s a scene in Episode 6 (a.k.a. the midseason finale) that was so revolting even exec producer Stephen Nathan couldn’t stomach it. And it takes a lot to gross out that guy. As a result, it was cut from the episode. “It was the body of a victim that was murdered,” he explains. “There was one angle where it looked like something from a medical journal. Totally gross. Not like our entertainingly revolting remains. It just looked too real. But never fear, there is much to close your eyes and shriek about in the episode.”

Another #Bones True/False Teaser : Bones: “The Hot Dog In The Competition”

Since the True and False teaser post I did for episode 701, ‘The Memories In The Shallow Grave,” of the new Bones season was such a hit with all you Bones fanatics (thanks for all the great comments!!), I thought I’d do the same with episode 702, “The Hot Dog in the Competition.” Having just watched it this morning, I am already feeling that this could be one of the strongest seasons of Bones to date. I may be setting myself up by saying that but the one concern – that having Booth and Brennan involved romantically would kill the show – is long gone having now seen these episodes and seeing how their relationship and impending baby is only adding more fun and layers to an already great show.

So, without further adieu….here are some True and False questions about “The Hot Dog In The Competition.”...

Inside TV Spoilers:

‘BONES’: BRENNAN IS EXPECTING, AND I’M EXPECTING A GREAT SEASON

So, you’ve probably been hearing a lot of good stuff about the season premiere of Bones. Well, I can confirm it’s all true. Proof, you say? Well, here’s what I can tell you about the Nov. 3 episode…

* ‘Shipper dreams come true
Allow me to point to a line in the episode description that has been released: “…Brennan and Booth acclimate to their new life as a pregnant couple.’ And they’re not joking around. In the first five minutes, there are no less than two gasp-worthy moments for any longtime fan of this couple because the extent to which their world has changed is immediately apparent. This is coming from someone who openly wept the first four times I rewound the 100th episode — I appreciate quality moments. And there are plenty quality moments.

* No sex scene? No problem.
As one of those who was a little sad we didn’t get to see Bones and Booth have a little sexy time last year when they finally hooked up, I can tell you that I walked away from this episode feeling satisfied — but not necessarily because they gave me exactly what I originally wanted. Let’s just say there’s a nod to nakedness that left me with a visual that was as good or better (in my weird opinion) as seeing them have sex.

* It’s still Bones.
So, some of you liked how Bones was. I get it. Change is scary. That said, the first five minutes aren’t just schmoop. There’s a truly disgusting thing involving an eyeball that I was happy to see because I love Bones — the gooey, fun crime show as much as I love the characters. And while much of this episode introduces this new journey for our main characters, there’s still a case, still a twist, and still a show about two people who work together to solve crimes. The rest is just gravy.

It was the five words that changed everything. “I’m pregnant. You’re the father.” Six if you count the fact that in delivering the news, Brennan stammered, repeating the word “I’m” twice. Ask Ausiello: October 11

Question: Any scoop on Bones? —Mahika
Ausiello: I’m a little behind on my Bones screeners — in case you didn’t hear, I visited the Smurfs’ homeland last week — but TVLine’s Matt Mitovich just watched Episode 2 and filed this report exclusively to AA:

“As much fun as the season opener is, I have to say that Episode 2 is even better. For one, the case of the week is much stronger and more compelling (and much more icky-gooey). Plus, you’ve got the addition of Luke Kleintank as Finn Abernathy, a good ol’ boy squintern whose scientific brilliance — a seeming clash with his omnipresent baseball cap and shaggy hair — drops even Brennan’s jaw, and who proves to be a very fun foil for Hodgins. Then, add on top of that even more sweet moments between Bones and Booth? Simply said, this pregnancy twist is the best thing to happen to the show in recent years. What we’re looking at is perhaps Bones at its very best. Oh, and did I mention the part where Temp discovers that years ago she helped prevent a murder? Cool stuff.”

‘Bones’ Advance Review: “The Memories in the Shallow Grave”

They’re back, baby! It’s been a long summer hiatus, but the wait is almost over for Bones fans. I got to view the first two episodes of season seven (be very jealous) and let me tell you, they are doozies! Before I get on with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of Bones’ “The Memories in the Shallow Grave” I need to warn you, there are definite spoilers ahead – and more than me just saying you may want to consider Chinese or Thai food for dinner while watching this episode. If you do not want to know what’s going down on Bones DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER! A vague disclaimer is no body’s friend. With that, I’ll continue.

The Good:

There is so much good going on in this episode, it makes up for all the craziness that went down in season six...

Emily Deschanel Sits Down with David Boreanaz (Interview + Video)

Best known for his star turns on the small screen—in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Bones—David Boreanaz is thinking bigger these days, with his most noteworthy feature-film role to date in the inspirational sports drama The Mighty Macs. Set in the early 1970s and based on a true story, the film centers on Cathy Rush (Carla Gugino), wife of NBA referee Ed Rush (played by Boreanaz), who wants to coach the Immaculata College women’s basketball team. The film, which was shot in Philadelphia, was a kind of a homecoming for the Malvern Prep graduate. The son of retired WPVI weatherman Dave Roberts, Boreanaz seized the opportunity to take a recent trip down memory lane with his Bones costar Emily Deschanel.

EMILY DESCHANEL: Let’s get down to business. Your dad was a famous and very handsome weatherman. My grandmother would say that—very handsome. Did he inspire you to get into television?
DAVID BOREANAZ: My father was very supportive... (CLICK HERE TO KEEP READING AT PHILLY STYLE MAG.COM)

True or False: Here’s my preview of the #BONES Season 7 premiere “The Memories of a Shallow Grave.” TRUE!!

OK, all you Bones fans out there know I am not a fan of spoilers and, while I am prone to teasing, I believe in not finding out too much before you finally get to watch the seventh season premiere on Fox on November 3rd. So, since I don’t want to give too much away about the case in the first episode or about what’s going on with our favorite Bones characters, here’s a little True and False game that should hopefully entertain you regarding the season premiere episode, “The Memories In The Shallow Grave”…if you like my little True and False game, let me know and I’ll do the same with the second episode, “The Hot Dog In The Competition.” (Stay tuned! Coming soon!)

That said, for people who truly don’t want to know anything until the episode airs, I’d stop reading now. For the rest of you, I’d call this ‘barely spoilery.’ I do tell you some things but not too much....

'Bones' Season 7 Premiere Scoop: News on Booth, Brennan and Baby

After far too many months absent from our televisions, the season 7 premiere of Bones will finally air on Thursday, November 3. But if you can't wait until then, we have a preview of what audiences can expect when Bones returns. ...

BONES Season 7 Preview: You Ask, I Answer on ‘The Memories in the Shallow Grave’ and ‘The Hot Dog in the Competition

We’re less than a month away from the BONES season premiere! Are you excited?!

Fox officially released the first two hours of season 7 to the press earlier today, which means I have some answers to a few of your burning questions!

Before we get into the teases, please understand I’m not going to be the jerk who spoils everything. a) I think it’s a selfish thing to do and b) it’ll ruin some of the fun for you guys getting to experience it for yourself. If you like being teased? Awesome. This should do the trick. If you want me to tell you frame-by-frame what happens, that isn’t what you’ll be getting here. Apologies, but I’m just not comfortable with doing that.

We all good?

Bones: 7 Scoopy Bits From Season 7′s Premiere

What better way to liven up a sleepy Friday afternoon than with a screening of the Bones Season 7 premiere, which won’t hit our TVs until, what, November 3?

For starters, let’s get two things out of the way: It’s good to (finally) see the gang again, and I’m genuinely sad that you all have to wait, what, another month for it.

Another point to be stressed: As promised by exec producer Stephen Nathan, there is most definitely affection on display between parents-to-be Booth and Brennan. And while it might not ever translate into 9 o’clock hour-friendly love scenes, it’s made pretty clear that they are having sex. And perhaps lots of it. (As Brennan at one point says, “I can always depend on you to assist when needed… sexually.”)...

Why David Boreanaz Loves the Phildelphia Flyers

David Boreanaz, star of Bones and two of my favorite shows of all time, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, looks damn good in the Philadelphia Flyers photo he just tweeted to George Stroumboulopoulos (have you tweeted @Strombo your photo in your team jersey yet?).

After years of pining, I was pumped to finally get to interview David - a talented actor/director/producer - but since our chat was about celebrating the Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off Festival, all we talked about was hockey. Isn't that always the way, ladies? : )

Here's what he had to say about his love of the game and his favorite team, the Philadelphia Flyers.

Daley’s Got a Gun! We Preview BONES Season 7 with Super Sweet Star John Francis Daley

After a season spent juggling a blossoming writing career that culminated in this summer’s Horrible Bosses, it’s not hard to image that actor John Francis Daley — who co-wrote the hit film alongside writing partner Jonathan Goldstein — might be looking forward to returning to his supporting role on BONES this year. Little did he know that thanks to Emily Deschanel’s real-life pregnancy, his once cushy role that usually saw him effortlessly pop-in-and-out-of any given episode with a dollop of advice or a memorable one-liner would be a little different this season...

Season 7 Synopsis

In last season’s final episode, Brennan stunned Booth when she revealed the news that she was pregnant with his child. In the Season Seven premiere, we pick up with the new couple well into Brennan’s pregnancy. Still seeing the world from radically different perspectives, Booth and Brennan grapple with the issues surrounding the upcoming birth of their child – all while continuing to deal with a series of gruesome and baffling crimes. And this season brings more than a baby. Our team will also have to contend with a nefarious tech-savvy foe who uses his unparalleled skills to challenge Booth, Brennan and the squints to solve a string of murders designed to embarrass and humiliate them.

In the mag: Bones's David Boreanaz talks family

Top five reasons to buy TV WEEK this week...

5. Bones: David Boreanaz talks family

David Boreanaz has found his family life the subject of much tabloid speculation since admitting last year that he'd been unfaithful to wife Jaime. In a candid, and at times quite revealing, interview, the Bones star talks exclusively to TV WEEK about the controversy. "In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive," the actor says.

Question: Please tell me Brennan doesn’t actually give birth in prison on Bones. —Sam
Ausiello: Brennan doesn’t actually give birth in prison on Bones. While an upcoming episode is set inside a jail, that is not where B&B will welcome their son/daughter into the world. A source tells me the setting of the delivery is “much better than that.”
